The Book of Matthew: The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as written by a believer named Matthew
Matthew, also known as Levi, was one of the 12 disciples of Jesus. The word gospel means “Good News.” The Gospel of Matthew shows us that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, the King of all the earth, and the one who reveals the Kingdom of God.
